  • Revitalize Parks: Invest in renovations, particularly in outdated public spaces, parks, and playgrounds.

  • Expand Parks Enforcement Officers: Our borough is understaffed and underfunded. Work with the City to expand Parks Enforcement and Ranger staff to 125 individuals.

  • Promote Green Infrastructure: Encourage green roofs, blue roofs, renewable energy projects, and urban agriculture partnerships.

  • Monitor Environmental Health: Work with environmental groups to track air and water quality, especially in industrial zones.

  • Expand Waterfront Access: Promote responsible, community-centered access to Bronx waterfronts.

  • Clean Truck Programs: Support the transition of local trucking fleets to electric and alternative fuel technologies.

  • Expand The Blue Highway Program: Work with EDC to identify and expand this program in industrial zones with high truck traffic.
