Ralph’s Vision for
a Stronger Bronx
Rafael Salamanca Jr. is running for Bronx Borough President to deliver what every family deserves: safe streets, great schools, affordable housing, and a borough government that works for everyone — not just the well-connected.
This campaign is about action, not promises. Below are the key priorities Ralph is fighting for, shaped by years of listening to Bronx families and getting results at City Hall.
-
No family should feel unsafe on their own block. As Borough President, Ralph will fight to expand NYPD Argus cameras, improve lighting in our parks, bridges, and transit hubs, and crack down on illegal dumping, graffiti, and car theft. Public safety and community pride go hand in hand — and Ralph is committed to both.
-
Ralph believes every child deserves a quality education — no matter their zip code. He’ll push to upgrade classrooms, expand after-school programs, and create real career pathways for Bronx students. Because a better future starts in our schools.
-
From overflowing trash bins to neglected parks, too many Bronx neighborhoods are left behind. Ralph will fight to restore parks maintenance, boost sanitation services, and ensure every neighborhood gets the services it deserves — not just some.
-
Ralph knows that economic growth starts at home. He’ll support local businesses, attract smart investment, and push for job creation that benefits the whole borough — with a focus on hiring Bronx residents first.
-
Ralph has already delivered over 10,000 units of deeply affordable housing — and he’s just getting started. As Borough President, he’ll push for more truly affordable homes while holding developers accountable and keeping rents in check.
